Shrimp and Carrots Curry with Coconut Milk


  • 200 grams shrimps
  • 100 grams carrots
  • 100 grams beans
  • 100 grams potato
  • 1 pack of instant coconut milk


  • 5 cloves of red onions
  • 3 cloves of white onions
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 1 piece of turmeric (you can replace this with turmeric powder)
  • 3 lime leaves
  • 1 piece of lemongrass
  • 1 piece of ginger
  • 1 tsp coriander
  • 1 piece of galangal

How to Make Shrimp Curry

  1. Mashed all seasonings, except lemongrass and lime leaves.
  2. Put 2 tbsp of cooking oil on the pan and let it heat.
  3. Stir-fry the seasoning, lemongrass and lime leaves until shriveled.
  4. Add some water.
  5. Put the shrimps, vegetables and coconut oil into the pan.
  6. Let it boil for some couple minutes, then turn off the stove.
  7. Put the shrimp and vegetables with hot coconut milk into a bowl.
  8. Ready to serve.
